DOTP

DOTP – High-Performance Plasticizer for PVC
DOTP (Dioctyl Terephthalate) is a non-phthalate plasticizer commonly used in PVC to enhance flexibility and reduce brittleness. Unlike DOP, DOTP has a linear molecular structure that offers better compatibility with PVC chains, resulting in lower migration, improved durability, and minimal loss during gelation.

Key advantages of DOTP:

  • Non-carcinogenic and compliant with EU regulations for human-contact applications (toys, medical items, etc.)

  • Very low migration and volatility compared to DOP and DINP

  • Excellent low-temperature performance and self-lubricating properties

  • Stable plastisol viscosity, ensuring consistent product quality

  • Prevents lacquer soiling and offers superior electrical properties, ideal for cable production

DOTP is widely used in synthetic leather, footwear, cables, hoses, tarpaulins, and similar flexible PVC applications, making it a preferred choice for long-lasting and safe products.
